William Robertson

Mr. William “Bill” Eugene Robertson, age 87, of Lithia Springs, Georgia passed away Wednesday, August 28, 2013. He was born November 30, 1925 in Atlanta, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Benjamin Franklin Robertson, Sr. and the late Mrs. Eunice Breedlove Robertson. He was a World War II veteran of the United States Army. Bill retired as an agriculture broker. He was a member of the Lithia Springs First Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Dillon Robertson; and brother, Benjamin Franklin Robertson, Jr. He is survived by his only daughter, Penny Ann Robertson of Gainesville; sister, Geneva Robertson Mitchell of Winston; two nieces, Helen Virginia Freed of Decatur and Helen Marie Kennedy and Robert Marshall Leeper of Oregon; three nephews, Franklin Edward Robertson, Carter Barrett Robertson and Peggy Alexander Robertson, and Robert Donald Bone and Penny Allen Bone of Mableton. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Douglas Chapel, Friday, August 30, 2013 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday, August 31, 2013 at 11:00 AM at the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville with Dr. Marion Beaver and Mr. Harry Allgood officiating. Entombment will follow at Mozley Memorial Gardens in Lithia Springs with military honors provided by United States Army Honor Guard.
