William Rush

Mr. William Allen Rush, age 69, of Temple, passed away, Monday, December 12, 2016. He was born May 11, 1947 in Temple the son of the late Mr. Cecil Allen Rush and the late Mrs. Mary Stephens Rush. Mr. Rush served in the United States Army, serving three tours in Vietnam as a volunteer soldier. He loved working old trucks, fishing, and enjoyed a good cookout. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Sandie McCleary; sister, Janis Johns.He is survived by his wife, Judy Pace Rush of Temple; daughters Donna Rush McCarthy of Brunswick, Lynda Kay Hyman of Jacksonville, FL; son and daughter-in-law, David and Dawn Rush of Waco; sisters and brother-in-law, Judy Ann Greer of Temple, Diane and Butch Ginnetto of Yulee, FL; grandchildren,, Joseph Rush, Steven and Payton Rush, Kelly Rush, April Rush, Barbi McCleary, Brad Lee, Adrienne McGill, Cody McGill, Ginger McCarthy, Brittany McCarthy; great grandchildren, Ashlyn, Jazylnn, Annabelle, Ava, Alala, and Bentlee; several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home, Saturday, December 17, 2016 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Memorial Services will be conducted Saturday, December 17, 2016 at 2:00 PM from the Chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home. Messages of condolence may be sent to the family at www.jones-wynn.com.
