William Schmidt

Mr. William Schmidt, age 57, of Douglasville, passed away Friday, September 7, 2012. He was born May 11, 1955 in Quincy, CA the son of the late Mr. Thomas E. Schmidt and Mrs. Mary Lois Schmidt. He retired as a non-commissioned officer from the United States Army after 26 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Celia Melinda Scarbrough of Douglasville; daughter, Casandra Schmidt of CT; son, Jonathan Schmidt of CT; mother, Lois Schmidt of Santa Cruz, CA; sisters, Pat Gollaher, Jan Hager; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Don and Celia Scarbrough of Douglasville; sister-in-law, Danice Eaton of Lilburn; brother-in-law, Don Scarbrough, Jr. of Douglasville. Services will be conducted Tuesday, September 11, 2012 at 1:00 PM at the Trinity Anglican Church in Douglasville with Father Steven Saul officiating. Private Interment will follow at Honey Creek Woodlands Cemetery. Full Military Honors will be provided by the United States Army Honor Guard.
