William Edward Summerville

William Edward Summerville, 75, of Villa Rica, passed away on Monday, January 26, 2026. He was born on February 19, 1950, the son of the late William Rowe Summerville and the late Sarah Jane Wilburn Summerville.

Affectionately known as Ed, loved going to the lake and deep-sea fishing. He also enjoyed being outdoors where he took great pride in his garden. Ed was known for his remarkable green thumb and he liked to collect antique treasures.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son Randall Summerville; brother, Jerry Thomas Summerville.

He is survived by his children, Cheryl and Chris Croteau of Carrollton and Richard Summerville of Bremen; sisters and brothers-in-law, Pat and Mike Eddleman of Villa Rica, Glenda and Junior Huddleston of Temple; brother, David Odell of Bremen; nine grandchildren; one great-grandchild; numerous nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 29, 2026 from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home Villa Rica Chapel with funeral services at 3:00 PM with Bro. Cook officiating. Interment will follow at Meadowbrook Memory Gardens.

The following will serve as pallbearers, Thomas Burdick, Braden King, Bryson King, and Mitchell Saade.
