William Watkins Sr.

Mr. William Alfred Watkins, Sr., 65, of Villa Rica, Georgia passed away Monday, March 21, 2016 at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica. He was born March 1, 1951 in Fulton County, Georgia, the son of the late Mr. Willie Elmo Watkins and the late Mrs. Jessie Mae Lang Watkins. He was a veteran of the United States Army. He worked as Roofer for Joyce Inc. He is of the Baptist Faith. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Benjamin Watkins and Richard Watkins; and sisters, Dovie Queen and Lucille Prater; and two grandchildren, Bryson and Zayden. He is survived by his wife, Debbie Diane Pattillo Watkins of Villa Rica; three daughters and sons-in-law, Amanda and Clinton Ratliff, Gina and Brent Sneddon, and Jessica and Adam Lowe all of Villa Rica; three sons and daughters-in-law, William “BJ” Alfred Watkins, Jr. and Tessa Watkins of Douglasville, Michael and Rebbecca Watkins of Dallas, and Chad Ryan Booth of Loganville; two sisters, Helen Queen of Orlando, FL, and Carolyn Huff of Loganville; brother, Ralph Watkins of Bethlehem; 20 grandchildren, Bryanna, Kimberly, Hunter, Connor, Kyllum, Aaron, Grant, Shayne, Ethan, John, Blake, Skyler, Michaela, Payton, Austin, Ashley, Jessie, Christopher, Jacob, and Noah; great-grandchildren, Jayden and joyfully anticipated, Leighanna; several nieces and nephews. Family gathering will be Saturday, March 26, 2016 from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM at the Family's Home, located at 67 Arnold Road, Villa Rica, Georgia 30180. Inurnment will be at Sandy Springs Historical Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks that contributions be made to the Memorial Fund of William A.
