Mr. Willie Virgil Holtzclaw, age 74, of Douglasville, passed away, Friday, October 17, 2014. He was born November 9, 1939 in Cedartown, Georgia the son of the late Mr. Jessie Eugene Holtzclaw and the late Mrs. Quinnie Villa Costley Holtzclaw. He served in the United States Army. Mr. Holtzclaw was self-employed with C & V Signs in Marietta. He attended Sunset Hills Baptist Church.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers, Cliff Holtzclaw and James Holtzclaw; sister, Ruby OâNeal; mother and father-in-law, Grady and Verma Holland; brother and sister-in-law, Selwyn and Barbara Holland. He is survived by his wife, Elaine Holland Holtzclaw; daughter, Shelia Tate of Lithia Springs; son and daughter-in-law, Jeff and Tracy Holtzclaw of Douglasville; sisters and brother-in-law, Runnet and Ira Partin of Live Oak, FL, Dixie Randolph of Smyrna; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Michael and Nancy Holland of Cedartown; four grandchildren, Morgan Holtzclaw of Douglasville, Kaci Holtzclaw of Douglasville, Kegan Tate of Lithia Springs and Mark Tate of Lithia Springs; niece and nephews, Kim and Alan Shepherd of Douglasville, Brian Holland of Cumming and Chris Holland of Rome. Several great-nieces and nephews also survive.The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Sunday, October 19, 2014 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM. Funeral Services will conducted Monday, October 20, 2014 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of Jones- Wynn Funeral Home with Rev. Ikey Watson, Rev. Jimmy Lester officiating Interment will follow in Sunrise Memorial Gardens with Rev. Jim Grieme officiating.
