Willie Starnes

Mrs. Willie Lucille Erzberger Starnes, age 89, of Douglasville, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012. She was born March 21, 1923 in Toccoa, Georgia the daughter of the late Mr. Coleman James Ertzberger and the late Mrs. Effie Naomie Spencer Ertzberger. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Lev Ward Starnes; sisters, Eva Leonard and Mary Starnes; brother, Marvin Ertzberger. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, James and Jackie Wallace of Lithia Springs, Robert and Carol Starnes of Douglasville, Edward R. Starnes of Douglasville, Dennis Lee Starnes of Douglasville; sisters, Josie Starnes of Douglasville; eight grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; several great-great grandchildren. Several nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends at Jones-Wynn Funeral Home in Douglasville, Thursday, August 23, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Funeral Services will be conducted Friday, August 24, 2012 at 2:00 PM from the chapel of Jones-Wynn Funeral Home with Pastor Lloyd Latham officiating.
